Draft for legal review before production launch. This template is a starting point, not legal advice.
Cookies
Every cookie we set, what it does, and how to change your mind.
Strictly necessary
These run without asking, because the product does not work without them. None of them track you across other websites.
bx_id — signed anonymous identity, enforces one free support per person per battle (1 year).
bx_user — keeps you signed in with the local development sign-in (30 days).
bx_ref — remembers whose invite brought you, so their referral is credited (30 days).
bx_theme — remembers light or dark (1 year).
bx_consent — remembers your answer to the cookie banner (6 months).
Optional analytics
Only set if you press Allow analytics. PostHog cookies (ph_*, up to 1 year) tell us in aggregate which features get used. Session recording is switched off, and we do not use analytics for advertising.
Changing your mind
Delete the bx_consent cookie in your browser settings and the banner will ask again on your next visit. Declining, or never answering, means no analytics script is ever loaded.
Do Not Track
We do not load optional analytics without an explicit yes, so a Do Not Track signal changes nothing about our behaviour — we already default to not tracking.
